  1. Perfect Know How is a third country national living in Hungary, who has a valid residence permit for study purposes.

            Perfect Know How submits an application for the extension of the residence permit online through the Enter Hungary system 2 months before the expiration of the residence permit. Perfect Know How continuously monitors the status of his/her application on the Enter Hungary website, so that, if necessary, he/she can upload the required documents in time. Perfect Know How thus saves herself/himself a lot of inconvenience and receives her/his residence permit in time, before her/his previous residence permit expires.

  1. Mischievous Magician is a third country national living in Hungary, who has a valid residence permit which expires in 15 days.  

            Mischievous Magician should have started extending his/her residence permit sooner, at least 45 but more likely 60 days sooner than her/his residence permit expires.  

            Mischievous Magician will be granted a certificate of temporary residence until her/his new residence permit is ready However, until the permit is not ready, Mischievous Magician cannot leave Hungary, because the certificate of temporary residence will not allow her/his to travel abroad.  

            Don’t Delay! Start extending your residence permit on time!

 

 

         3. Dream Wanderer is a third country national living in Hungary, whose residence permit has expired.  Dream Wanderer cannot submit a request for extension of residence permit via Enter Hungary, because he/she does not have valid residence permit.  

            Dream Wanderer must submit an application for new residence permit at the client service, and he/she has to pay a lot more for the application. Furthermore he/she must write a fairness request. If this request will not accepted, it means serious consequences for him/her.  In the worst case scenario she/he have to leave (expell) the Schengen area.

            Never act like Dream Wanderer! Submit application for extension in time!

Please be informed that the electronic administration platform of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (hereinafter: Directorate-General) called Enterhungary (www.enterhungary.gov.hu) is experiencing a temporary slowdown due to increased client interest in recent times. As a result, uploading applications and attachments might take longer than usual and the availability of the electronic payment system is limited.

 

The colleagues of the Directorate-General are working on the troubleshooting and after the full recovery of the service, a notification will be published on the website of the Directorate-General.

 

The procedural fee of applications already submitted may be paid via bank transfer, postal cheque, or in person at client services with a bank card – indicating the EH (Enterhungary) case number.

 

The Directorate-General can only consider payments transferred to the following bank account number: 10023002-00283511-02000006.

 

It is important for the identification of the applications that in case of bank transfer or postal cheque payment only one procedural fee shall be paid at once. In both cases it is important to indicate in the comment section the EH case number that the application is registered on.

 

We kindly apologise for any inconveniences caused by the malfunction of the electronic application platform.
